Beware when using One Word Broad or Phrase Matched Keywords

Google and Yahoo sponsored links enable geotargeting at the city level, an ideal option for local service providers.

Warning: if you are a plumber, for example, do NOT advertise on the keyword: plumber in broad or phrase match, even if you are limiting your exposure to a specific city only. One word broad and phrase match keywords are too broad, and may cost you dearly, without a good ROI, return on investment. Use kewyords like: "plumber in kansas city", or [plumber kansas city]
